This bright and cheery nursery is a perfect blend of modern and traditional done right giving you the great blend of an eclectic room. Eclectic rooms are my favorite “style” for nursery rooms. Today, I wanted to share how you can also “Get the Look” of this fun room!
Let’s start with the gingham rocker. It’s a very traditional piece but paired with the pops of red and brass finishes, and with the modern fabric of the roman shade, you get an overall feel of an eclectic nursery. If you’re looking to pull of this same look, try finding a piece of fabric that you can use as your “jumping off point” and pull colors from there. If your statement fabric is more modern, look for a traditional/transitional fabric to pair it with. You can also pair an organic feeling fabric with a more geometric fabric, and add in a traditional print like a stripe or dot to achieve this same feel.
Nursery Inspiration for a Bright & Cheery Baby Room
The buffalo check chair is a personal favorite fabric and I love it paired with this geometric, fun 80’s inspired fabric. You can find this fabric at Spoonflower. I love Spoonflower for unique fun fabrics (and wallpaper). You could use this same fabric and find a seller on Etsy to make your custom roman shade. I would definitely add the detail of the red grosgrain ribbon to give the shade that finishing touch. All the details are what really make this room special. The campaign dresser is a perfect double- duty functional piece that will definitely grow with your baby. I also can’t get enough of that adorable bunny lamp and all the brass finishes that tie this room together.
