I’m joining my sweet friend Darci and a few other very lovely ladies for a fun new link up today! You should too!
Ready for a super random collection of thoughts for the day? Okay, here goes..
ONE. Have you heard about this Etsy shop? Melanie introduced me and now I’m hooked. They’ve got quite a few really cute, fun and not to mention really affordable necklaces that I hope to add to my life soon.
TWO. These two boys at our play date yesterday had so much fun! They melt my heart, and it’s hard to believe how big they have gotten. It’s almost time to celebrate another FIRST Birthday!
THREE. Did you see this little boy’s room Holly Mathis recently shared? I’m in love with every single detail. Holly can do no wrong in my book, and have I ever mentioned how sweet she is? Yea, she’s got that going for her too.
I love the nightstand and apparently it’s from World Market. The mix of patterns and textures in the room are perfection. I also love how she mixes vintage pieces with modern fabrics. All the accessories make the room feel like they’ve been collected over time and that the room has slowly evolved and has so many layers…my fav.!
FOUR. My 7 day Weight Loss Challenge was completed on Monday. I didn’t win (one girl lost 14 pounds in one week, amazing) I did, however lose 6 pounds which I was fairly pleased with. I still have a ways to go but, slowly and surely I’m making progress. The Shakeo shakes were really good if anyone else is thinking about giving them a try. They also kept me full and energized until about lunch time. I chose to replace breakfast with my shake because they were quick and easy to put together, which is when I usually need to save the most time. My goal is to be down to my “goal weight” by the hubby and I’s FIVE year Anniversary! That means I have 3 more months to go!! (and to put it into perspective for ya.. there are about 10 more pounds I’d like to lose..eek!)
Did you see Natasha’s post on the Dr. Oz 3 Day Cleanse? I’m tempted to try it.. after the holiday weekend of course!
FIVE. Memorial Day Weekend means this Momma will be enjoying a few yummy treats with her friends. (love how I mentioned that right after all the weight loss talk! ) Here are a few I’ve got my eye on.
and don’t forget the cocktails! It is a holiday right?! (don’t let me fool you though, I enjoy cocktails on non-holiday weekends too, they’re just not usually as fancy as the ones below.) I think I may have to try one of each of Christina’s yummy cocktails from the Hello Sunshine Series.
Happy long and fun weekend, friends!!!
Oh how this song makes me HAPPY!
